The Foundation’s mission includes the education and enrichment of the lives of young children in Virginia’s lower Northern Neck.
The Foundation grants scholarships to students seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree in a field that focuses on the education and well-being of young children, like teaching or health care.
Students who plan to teach at the elementary school level in the lower Northern Neck of Virginia may chose to apply for a loan from the Foundation to complete the educational requirements for certification as a teacher in Virginia. The loan is forgivable, with years taught in Lancaster or Northumberland schools. For more information on the loan program, please contact us.
